Visit to St Katherine's church - dating from the 13th Century, extensively reconstructed in the 1980s. The pulpit dates from the 17th Century and is the oldest in Saaremaa - and other sites on the island Muhu, guided by Kaire Tooming, county inspector of Saaremaa.

Arrival in Kuressaare. Kuressaare old town dates mainly from the 17-19th cent. One of the main attractions is the Bishop's Castle, which now hosts the Saaremaa Museum.

Stronghold and church in Valjala. Valjala stronghold is the last pre-Christian stronghold of the Saarlanders. The area is 120 by 110 metres, the walls are still 5 to 7 metres high. The church dates from the first half of the 13th Century, being the oldest on Saaremaa. Mixture of Roman and Gothic styles. The altar and the painting are from the 19th Century. The stained glass Windows are the work of Dolores Hoffmann, 1970-1980.
Mustjalabank: Located on the northern coast of Saaremaa, it is the highest bluff of the northern coast of Saaremaa and Muhu. At its highest it reaches 21,3 metres and is ca 2,5 metres long.
Tuiu: Ancient iron smelting site. The largeast area of iron smelting heaps. Possibly connected with meteoritic iron?

Katarina church in Karja: Smallest church on Saaremaa, dating from the Middle Ages. The gothic church holds the richest collection of medieval sculptures in Estonia and in the Baltic States.
Angla Windmills: The only preserved windmill hill, with four trestle windmills and one dutch windmill.
The Maasi fortress ruins: The Livonian Order selected this spot äs a harbour and fortified centre after the destruction of its stronghold in Pöide by the Estonians during the St.George's Day uprising in 1434.
Koguva fishing village: The village with its 105 buildings and stone walls is a wonderful example of past peasant architecture. There is an open air museum, with ca 30 permanent residents, and the museum of a famous Estonian writer Juhan Smuul.

Check-in at Pädaste Guesthouse: Pädaste Tudor-style Manor house was built in the 19th Century, the outbuildings follow local traditional building styles. The manor is currently being restores and it operates as a hotel.
