Harald Rosmanitz MADate and place of birth: 28.4.1962 in Karlsruhe, Germany Harald Rosmanitz is project manager of the EU-project "Pathways to Cultural Landscapes" After finishing his secondary schooling at the Markgrafengymnasium in Karlsruhe-Durlach in 1982, Harald Rosmanitz served his military service at the Military Museum in Rastatt. He then studied art history, history and pre- and protohistory at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg and later at the University Fridericiana in Karlsruhe. He completed his studies in 19XX as Master of Arts. His thesis was written on early baroque stile tiles in Southwest Germany. During his studies, he was active in several Museums in Southern Germany, especially in the State Museum "Badisches Landesmuseum" in Karlsruhe. Furthermore Harald Rosmanitz was responsible for several archaeological studies and took part in the UNESCO-Program for the support of culture "Cultural Triangle" at Sri Lanka. 1995/96 Harald Rosmanitz was employed at the "Museum im Ritterhaus" in Offenburg. Later on he was director of the ceramic museum Westerwald at Höhr-Grenzhausen until May 2001. Now he is responsible for the European Co-ordination Office "Pathways to Cultural Landscapes" at Lohr a. Main. In addition, he lectures at the "Staatliche Fachschule für Keramik" at Höhr-Grenzhausen. At the European scale his activities include judging several European art craft competitions and the planning and realization of one of the word wide projects of the EXO 2000. Harald Rosmanitz is one of the founders of the European round table "Ceramic Museums in the Rhenian Valley". He is an active member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).
