Sept 1998 - present	Lancashire County Council Specialist Adviser (Archaeology & Heritage) Management of a team of heritage specialists to ensure the protection, conservation and promotion of Lancashire’s archaeological and built heritage. Responsible for the Lancashire Sites & Monuments Record, provision of advise to Lancashire Local Authorities and for providing a strategic overview of the county’s heritage. Other principle duties include the development of partnerships, projects and funding packages, and the implementation of statutory and non-statutory plans and strategies.
Sept 1990 - Aug 1998	Stafford Borough Council Borough Archaeologist Responsible for the establishment and management of a district-based archaeology service.
Oct 1988 - Aug 1990	Hereford & Worcester County Council Project Officer Responsible for evaluations, project designs, post-excavation and drafting of archaeological policy.
Jan 1988 - Sept 1988	Crickley Hill Archaeological Trust Field Archaeologist Direction of a variety of heritage projects throughout Gloucestershire.
